EGAWA MUSEUM OF ART


This museum houses antiquities from Japan and China, such as India ink paintings, calligraphic pieces and tea utensils, collected by Tokusuke Egawa, the 4th generation patriarch of the Egawa Family of Osaka merchants since the Edo Period. Acclaimed pieces are opened to public viewing twice a year, once each in spring and autumn. The museum also holds regular culture classes, art workshops and events of their friendship society.

Closed: Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday), the day after national holidays
